Shiga Kogen (ski resort)

Shiraito Falls

At the waterfall at the source of Yukawa, hundreds of groundwaters fall like white threads on the curved rock wall, creating a refreshing feeling.The autumn leaves are also wonderful.

Migahara plateau

It is located in the center of Nagano prefecture and forms part of the largest national park (39,857ha) in the prefecture.With the highest peak of Utsukushigahara, "Ogato", which has a peak of 2034m above sea level, the mountain top is a flat plateau, straddling Matsumoto City, Ueda City, and Nagawa Town, and peaks at Ogahana, Chausuyama, Ushibuseyama, Shikafuseyama, and Takeshimine. The area that extends around 2000m above sea level is called "Utsukushigahara Plateau".

Lake Nojiri
